What is the difference between an LLP and a Private Limited Company?
An LLP is a partnership with a separate legal identity where partners enjoy limited liability but are taxed as individuals; a Pte Ltd is a company with shares, taxed at corporate rates, and able to retain profits, issue equity and raise investment. Pte Ltd is generally preferred for scalable businesses.
