As a foreign entity, should we incorporate a subsidiary or register a branch office?

A subsidiary is usually better: it limits liability to Singapore operations, can access local tax incentives, and is a separate legal entity. A branch is simpler but the parent remains fully liable and it may not access certain incentives.
